Description
In this essay, Participant 220 shares how they took extra precautions to protect them and their parents, who are elderly, during the COVID-19 pandemic. The participant describes facing a short supply of necessary medical supplies, and their feelings fof nervousness and concern for family and friends who are healthcare providers. They share about their experience of teaching remotely, and about leaning on the community for support. The participant expresses their disappointment with individuals who are not wearing masks, and their sadness about those who are suffering with COVID-19. They share their perspective that it is important to work together to eradicate the virus.
