Description
In this interview, Participant 180 shares how the COVID-19 pandemic impacted their life and challenges that were experienced by the disability community. The participant shares about navigating virtual events and technology, as well as activities they miss, including seeing family and friends in person. The participant describes barriers in accessing and using technology, recieving information, and accessing healthcare. They share perspectives about the COVID-19 vaccine and that visual stories and fliers about the side effects of the vaccine may help address the concerns people may have. The participant expresses that they found support in their advocacy projects, their COVID-19 peer support group, and family and friends.
