dc.descriptionIn this interview, Participant 152 shares how the COVID-19 pandemic impacted their mental health, as well as their ability to see family members in the US and overseas. They discuss the experience of wearing masks and cleaning and disinfecting, and needing to stop community activities and inititatives they were involved in. The participant describes providing support to their community through the pandemic, through creating a summer virtual workshop for children and parents, and helping with homework. The participant shares the importance of providing resources to families and building daily awareness, such as community leaders creating videos to reach their communities and provide information.
