Abstract

Description

In this written interview, Participant 240 shares their experience as a student during the pandemic. The participant admits that they learn better when in-person. They share that they are also struggling with social isolation and not being able to see their family. They describe learning from their healthcare provider that they are high risk due to living with Type 1 diabetes. The participant notes that families with youth and children were left out of New Jersey's emergency response, and that the stimulus checks were not enough to support families, particularly single parents.
