Description
In this interview, Participant 406 shares that it has been difficult not seeing family and friends during the COVID-19 pandemic, some of whom they have not seen in a year. They describe an experience from the beginning of the pandemic during which a parent was exposed to COVID-19, but could not immediately access a test. The participant, who shares that they are an essential worker who works at a pharmacy, felt strong by being able to go to work and continuing to help people through work and hospital rotations. They comment on the divisiveness COVID-19 amplified, and share that a struggle has been trying to convince friends to take the pandemic more seriously and follow safety guidelines, while fearing losing them as friends.
