Abstract
Description
In this interview, Participant 342 describes their experience as a small business owner and president of a community service organization during the COVID-19 pandemic. The participant says they were able to mobilize their community to sew masks and donate to healthcare providers, long-term care facilities, and residents of their township. They also sewed scrubs at the request of a healthcare provider. The participant shares that this common purpose created unity within the community and a sense of accomplishment and service during the pandemic.
