dc.descriptionIn this interview by proxy, the interviewee describes the experience of their adult child during the COVID-19 pandemic, Participant 405, who they share has special needs. The interviewee describes the participant's day-to-day activities and classes from before the pandemic, and shares that the pandemic has affected how the participant can socialize. They share about difficulties accessing transportation, adjusting to changed routines, and increased anxiety and paranoia for the participant. The interviewee shares that people with disabilities have been left out of the emergency response, and that the participant and their family have felt more isolated due to the pandemic.
