Abstract

Description

In this mural and short film, participants in a New Jersey middle school portray life during the COVID-19 pandemic. Through their art, participants describe the fun things the pandemic took from them, including not being able to attend concerts and movies, not seeing friends, and not being able to travel. The mural describes participants' feelings of being locked up in their homes. They feel deprived of a normal school experience because they cannot be in-person or participate in extracurricular activities.
