Abstract

Description

In this written interview, Participant 174 shares about personal challenges during the COVID-19 pandemic, such as contracting covid, being laid off from work, and experiencing financial insecurity. They share about their sadness and fear of being unemployed longer than they thought, but that they relied on their family for strength. They share their perception of communities not being treated equally during the pandemic, and that New Jersey should have implemented a lockdown sooner, been more strict with a mandatory mask mandate, and enforcing social distancing.
