Abstract

Description

In this interview, Participant 273 describes their experience navigating the COVID-19 pandemic, and caring for an adult child with disabilities. They share that their son is in a residential facility, but that the pandemic has impacted how they can visit, interact, and spend time together. The participant shares that challenges have existed between differing guidelines for different age groups before the pandemic, and that COVID-19 has exacerbated these difficulties. They share that it is important to consider people with disabilities when providing information and enacting policies.
