dc.descriptionIn this focus group, participants share that the COVID-19 pandemic removed the personal interactions and conversations they had prior to the pandemic, both in their work and personal lives. Participants express that the pandemic has reduced the number and quality of services that are offered to community members receiving support from harm reduction centers. They discuss the challenges that homeless populations and people with substance use disorders face when trying to access mental health services and other resources. They talk about the challenges of not being able to see family and loved ones, especially during the holiday season.
