Abstract
Description
In this report, Participant 215 shares the work and mission of a dental clinic providing services to underserved children and families in New Jersey during the COVID-19 pandemic. The participant explains that access to dental services is insufficient within underserved populations, and that the pandemic has further widened this inequity for Black and Hispanic Americans when compared to white Americans. The participant shares that despite the pandemic, healthcare workers in this clinic remain focused, dedicated, and ready to care for patients in need.
