dc.descriptionIn this interview, Participant 410 shares that COVID-19 has had the greatest impact on their school experience, but that remote learning has brought some silver linings, such as reducing their long commute. They share while working at a retail pharmacy throughout the pandemic, they have not had to have direct contact with patients from behind the counter. The participant shares that it has been a challenging experience for their parents in the health care and food industries, especially at the onset of the pandemic. The participant shares that they relied on the CDC and articles and newsletters to stay up to date on COVID-19. They express that they found strength from their mom, and shares that taking the proper precautions to stay protected helped reduce fear of uncertainty felt at the start of the pandemic.
