dc.descriptionIn this interview, Participant 411 shares about navigating the COVID-19 pandemic with their family. They share about the change in routine for their three-year-old child, who had just started daycare six months prior to the pandemic. Yet, the participant shares that it has been a blessing for them and their partner to see their child during the day while they work full-time, finding it to be a silver lining among the challenges of COVID-19. The participant shares that they have not been following the news closely due to working and studying long hours, trusting their family for information as news changes so rapidly that it is difficult to keep up with. They share a perception that the most challenging part of the pandemic is yet to come, as they feel that re-opening will introduce challenges related to trust, safety, and emotional difficulties. The participant shares about finding strength in their ability to be flexible, and their network of support. They share their perception that the pandemic has brought out the best in some people, but the worst in others.
