dc.descriptionIn this interview, Participant 271 discusses challenges they have faced caring for two children with disabilities during the COVID-19 pandemic. The participant and their partner are healthcare providers, which the participant shares has been an additional layer of difficulty they have faced. The participant says people with disabilities have been left out of the emergency pandemic response, and shares about difficulties navigating virtual learning and loss of routine. The participant says this experience has changed their family structure and how they function, describing significant challenges within their home life and activities with their children.
