In this written interview, Participant 571 talks about the challenges they have experienced with job loss, financial instability, and a lack of government resources. The participant says that finances are a constant struggle for their family, but that food donations were an act of kindness they received during the pandemic. The participant shares that social isolation is a source of sadness, and that they are disappointed that their children are not socializing adequately because schools are closed. The participant expresses that they wish all information sources had translation services because sometimes they had to resort to using an online translator to understand COVID-19-related information available on the internet. |
