In this interview, Participant 555 shares their perspective on the COVID-19 pandemic from the perspective of working in the public health field. The participant discusses challenges with working around the clock since the pandemic started, and difficulty with work-life balance. The participant says they are surprised by how ill-prepared federal and state governments were for the pandemic, and that they wish there was more money invested in public health. They share frustrations toward people who do not take public health seriously. The participant also expresses feelings of excitement over the COVID-19 vaccine and that they are hopeful it will give people the opportunity to see family members again. |
