Abstract
Description
In this essay, Participant 486 shares their experience during the COVID-19 pandemic and pandemic restrictions as the parent of an adult on the autism spectrum. The participant expresses that their son had a difficult time understanding what was happening in the world, and struggled with adjusting to major changes in their schedule. The participant wishes there were more programs open for those on the autism spectrum because it has become difficult to manage work and home responsibilities simultaneously.
