dc.description In this interview, Participant 6 discusses balancing work and caring for their children who were experiencing difficulties navigating COVID-19. They found allies in family members, and happiness through taking walks. The participant describes their disappointment in how the pandemic was handled, expressing that they had fears about going to work but could not quit their job because of insurance. They express concerns about children experiencing grief and loss, and systemic problems with inequities regarding access to adequate health care. They shared positive experiences with their children's day camp, such as safety protocols. The participant relies on information about COVID-19 from other parents, colleagues, news and social media.
