Water Resource Management

Water Resources Management includes the following divisions and units: **Division of Water Supply and Geoscience (including the Source Water Assessment Program and the New Jersey Geological Survey) **Water Quality (including Municipal Finance and Construction and Water Pollution Management Element) **Water Monitoring and Standards (including the Bureau of Marine Water Monitoring, the Bureau of Freshwater and Biological Monitoring, and the Bureau of Water Quality Standards and Assessment **Office of Water Resources Management Coordination. Previously, the Division of Water Quality, implemented the New Jersey Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NJPDES Program), administered financial assistance programs for wastewater treatment facilities, and administered the Treatment Works Approval, Capacity Assurance, and Sewer Ban Programs.
