He turned it into a restaurant. Unfortunately it was not a success. Finally it was taken over by Bernie Sweeney and it became a well known restaurant for events in Hudson County. One of the most famous events held here was Frank Sinatra parents' 50th wedding anniversary celebration which was attended by the famous "Rat Pack: Many Democratic political events were held here. One of these hosted the Arkansas Governor Bill Clinton. In 1970 the most important event that was held here was Maureen and my wedding reception.
