Virtual Tour of Spring Lake The Jewel of The New Jersey Shore

Everyone has a special place. I'm lucky I have three and this album is dedicated to the three places where I can honestly say I spend the best days of my life. They are Spring Lake at the Jersey Shore, Shongum Lake in Randolph, NJ in the Skylands of New Jersey and Jersey City. Spring Lake New Jersey There is the Jersey Shore and then there is the Jersey Shore. Spring Lake has always been a special place to me because it is where I spent so many happy days in my life. It was where I built sand castles on the beach and played in the surf. There were those touch football games and walks on the beach. It was were I met my wonderful wife. Those date nights before and after we were married. Dressing up to go for cocktails at the Monmouth and Essex Sussex Hotels, Jack Sullivans and those nights listening and singing to Irish Music at Jimmy Burns and the Keynote. I enjoyed the steak sandwiches at Harrigans with my Dad, as well as dinner at Rods. It was where my daughters played on the beach and where we pushed them in their Pram on the boardwalk. In later years my my parents grew older, it was walks with my Mom and Dad on the boards after dinner. It was were I said good-by to my father at St. Catharine Church. It was and will be my place at the Jersey Shore.
