The Division ensures public water systems meet the Federal & State Drinking Water Standards. That surface water and ground water diversions do not exceed the sustainable yield of available water resources. It protects ground water sources through proper well drilling activities and administers the Drinking Water State Revolving Fund and other funds to finance the costs of drinking water infrastructure improvements.
