Abstract

Description

In this interview, Participant 84 shares that their life changed in all aspects due to COVID-19, including their children not being able to go to school and needing to take on the role of being teacher and parent. They share about feeling terrified for their family when the pandemic started, and describe the stress of having their children at home all the time while caring for a newborn. They express sadness due to isolating from family and friends, and challenges from strained finances and limited supplies due to unemployment. They found support from family and community programs, and despite the challenges of COVID-19, the participant felt they forged a stronger bond with their family.
