In this group interview, Participants 57 and 58 share how students and families have been impacted during COVID-19, and describe activities at their food distribution pantry, providing breakfast, lunch, and dinners for families. They shared how the pandemic had impacted the families' income, food and transportation, particularly for families relying on public transportation. They describe how families faced difficulty accessing childcare and reliable internet access for virtual classes, as well as concerns about the mental health of students. The participants share about support from volunteers and the resilience of their students and families. |
