Permanent URI for this collection

The SDA was established on August 6, 2007 under the provisions of P.L. 2007, c. 137 (Program and Governance Reform) as an independent authority in but not of the Department of Treasury. It replaced the New Jersey Schools Construction Corporation (SCC), which had been a subsidiary of the New Jersey Economic Development Authority, and eliminated the requirement that half of its governing-body members also be EDA Board members.
