As a parent and child, the participants found it challenging to have everyone home at the same time, but that they found support from family and friends. They felt overwhelmed with a lack of access to necessities, such as gas. The participants share disappointment in the lack of adherence to pandemic guidelines by some individuals. They share that positive moments during the pandemic came from camp experiences, with supportive staff and being able to interact with other children.
