The first-floor windows, diminishing size of the windows, drip mold on the lintels, and anthemion flower motif in the porch ironwork are all Greek Revival features. The bracketed cornice, triangular pediment over the entrance, and pair of doors with arched lights and transom are features of the later style. Notice the fine face brick hard bricks with very narrow masonry joints on this house.Original file name Brownstones on Mercer Street 5 (2).jpg3770 x 2549Each photograph within this collection is protected by copyright and/or related rights.
