The Parmly Memorial Baptist Church, The Bergen Baptist Church, and a group from the Summit Avenue Baptist Church, who lived in the Bergen area, joined the merging of the two Churches to form the present day First Baptist Church of Jersey City. The present church building is located at 2606 John F.
