Classes started on the present site of the college on September 24, 1936. Some 400 students, 20 Jesuits, and 20 lay teachers filled Gannon Hall and the Arts Building. Gannon Hall, a four-story colonial brick and limestone building, set the tone for the architectural style of future buildings on campus. Today Gannon Hall is the home for the science programs including biology, chemistry, biochemistry, biotechnology, and health sciences. It is where you'll find the majority of the college's science laboratories. Fun fact, the fifth floor has a greenhouse so our students can work on building sustainable environments and understanding botany.Original file name 65 Gannon hall at St. Peter's College (1).jpg2048x1536Each photograph within this collection is protected by copyright and/or related rights.
