Yacabell, Gabrielle2021-10-282021-10-282021-01-29https://hdl.handle.net/10929/74585In this mixed medium art piece by Participant 293 from the group MLP Artists, titled "Wasted Potential," the participant describes their work: "The butterflies being held down by chains represents me and other's current situations during a pandemic: our normal lives have been altered into a dark reality. The top of the painting shows our normal lives from before Covid-19, and the lower painting's darkness conveys how we have been affected. The bottom butterfly is weak, and is feeling stuck, similar to how many people feel currently. My painting conveys an important message, which is that we all watch as things fall apart, knowing we cannot live our normal lives and it is holding us back from our full potential."TIFF; PDFThis Item is protected by copyright and/or related rights.
