It's pretty much impossible to tell where the original State House begins and ends. It is believed that is an archway leading from the rotunda to the hallway between the governor's suite and that of some of his staff members, was the site of the original entrance to the 1792 Capital building. Although there is nothing distinct about the walls, floors or ceilings to indicate its post-colonial heritage; it all looked to be of the same vintage as every other part of the building.
