dc.descriptionThe Second Reformed Church of Hackensack was founded in 1855. The first church was dedicated on July 30, 1856. Unfortunately, it was destroyed by fire on April 15, 1907. The cornerstone for this building was laid on June 21, 1908. It is constructed of native field stones from the stone walls of nearby farms. It is famous for its Tiffany glass windows. One of these windows entitled The Angels of Praise was part of the 1893 International Exhibition in Chicago
