| dc.description | Shongum Lake, a small reservoir to the east of the township. Shongum Lake has mostly largemouth bass, as well as chain pickerel as the dominant species of sportfish, but black, crappie, yellow perch, and bluegill can all be found here too. The lake is mostly for residents, but non-residents are allowed to fish here as well, provided they release all fish caught back into the lake. | |
