Abstract

Description

This church was the second church built for the parish. It was completed in the late 1860's and stood at the corner of Grand Street and Van Vorst Streets. It was transferred to the Jesuits on 1897 as an inducement to found a Catholic College in Jersey City. It sustained damage and was closed in 1957 and was demolished in the summer of 1958.
