dc.description.abstract | In yet another move to reaffirm his commitment to reducing the number of guns on the streets, Governor Jon S. Corzine signed legislation yesterday that will limit New Jersey residents to purchasing one handgun a month. In signing the bill, New Jersey became the fourth state to impose a one-gun per month buying limit. The goal is to crack down on so-called straw buyers who purchase handguns legally and pass them on to criminals. | en_US |
