Description

This is the former Coast Guard Life Saving Station. It was built in 1886, is located in Townsends Inlet in the southern portion of Sea Isle City. It is primarily rented by members of the U.S. Military. It consists of four rooms for rent with a common kitchen and living space and recreational equipment, including basketball and volleyball courts, grills, and beach bikes. The Air Station Atlantic City Townsends Inlet Recreational Facility Officer manages the facility while the facility attendant handles all guest reservations. The responsibility for operation and maintenance of the facility rests with Commander, U. S. Coast Guard Air Station Atlantic City.
