dc.descriptionThis famous restaurant originally opened in 1927 as Paul�s providing food and lodging as part of Paul�s rowboat business at the foot of 7th street. in the late 1930�s it was purchased by the Kubelczikas Family and the name was changed to Kubel's. During the 1960's my wife and I visited Kubel's on several occasions. At that time it was frequented by descendants of the Scandinavian fisherman. We would enjoy watching Scandinavians dancing their native folk dances in the bar.
