dc.descriptionHistoric Smithville was created to attract customers to the Smithville Inn. The Noyes Family acquired old southern buildings from south Jersey from the 19th century and moved them to Smithville restoring them. At its peak Smithville had over 25 historic structures. Placing near the Inn they gave visitors a good indication of what a South Jersey Pine Barrens town may have looked like.
