Description

Fosterfields is a a 213.4-acre historical farm located in Morris County New Jersey. It is one of the oldest continuously operated estate farms in Morris County. In the background is the Willows. The home of Joseph W. Revere (the grandson of Paul Revere) the first owner of the property. The farm was purchased in 1881 by Charles Grant Foster, a prominent New York commodities broker. In 1974 Caroline Foster bequeathed the land to the Morris County Park Commission following her death, with the intent of making the property an educational farm.
