dc.descriptionThe Peter Shields House was built on Beach Street between 1906 and 1907. It was built as the home for Peter Shields, president of the Cape May Real Estate Company. It was this company that was responsible for the development of what would become the Cape Mays' most affluent neighborhood. Today the building is the Peter Shields Inn and Restaurant
