Description
The Ralston Cider Mill, the only operational cider mill functioning as a privately funded museum and educational experience in New Jersey.
This mill was built as a gristmill in 1848, along the turnpike on the border of Mendham and Chester Township.
For nearly 60 years, this stone mill ground grain into flour and feed, powered by a wheel 16 feet in diameter and 8 feet wide.
Today the Mill is open to the public on weekends in October and the first two weekends in November.
