Description
In 2011 Bruins Stadium was renamed to honor Vincent Ascolese, the North Bergen High School football coach.
Mr. Ascolese served as the North Bergen High School Head Football coach for 39 years.
During his tenure he won a total of 369 games, leading the team to 7 State Football Championships, and 14 County Championships.
This record made him the 2nd most winningest coach in the State of New Jersey.
