Abstract
Description
While there is some question in my mind if the site is actually located in Bay Head or Port Pleasant, I have placed the pictures in the Bay Head Album because the site is managed by the Bay Head Historical Society and I think it is actually located in Bay Head.
This fishing and hunting village which was built in 1819 was the first settlement in the Point Pleasant area.
It was Charles Loveland that gave the community its name.
