dc.description1. Be it enacted by the Senate and General Assembly of the State of New Jersey, That hereafter no person shall be eligible to the office of school trustee unless he or she can read or write; and women who are residents in the. district and over the age of twenty-one years shall also be eligible to the office of school trustee, and may hold such office and perform the duties of the same when duly elected by the legal voters of the district. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect immediately. Approved March 25, 1873
