dc.descriptionLocated on the second floor directly across the hall from Washington's Bedroom is the large Aides' Bedroom. Washington employed three aides-de-camps Richard Kidder Meade, Tench Tilghman and Alexander Hamilton as well as two secretaries Robert Hanson Harrison and James McHenry] to write his letters, file his papers and deliver his messages. These men would all have stayed in their room.
