Abstract

Description

The size of the Justice Complex is impressive--over one million square feet of space. The Justice Complex is described as three buildings in one. As the diagram below shows, the eight story office building forms the two legs of a "V" around the Court cube. Indoor bridges connect the offices on the fourth, fifth, seventh and eighth floors. The two main entrances to the building from the street lead into the lobby/atrium which is open through ten stories to a skylight on the roof. Complex has been home to the Department since it was completed in 1982. The building is shared with the New Jersey Judiciary and the Office of the Public Defender. The Attorney General's main office is located on the eighth floor of the west wing overlooking the scenic and historic Delaware River. Some agencies under the Office of the Attorney General in the Department of Law and Public Safety are also housed in the Justice Complex, while others are in satellite locations throughout the State.
