Abstract

Description

As a young boy I rode on the Carousel that once was housed in this building. I often tried to get the gold ring but I never achieved that goal. The carousel housed in this building was built by the Philadelphia Toboggan Company and was installed in 1932. In 1990 this beauty was sold and moved to Family Kingdom Park in Myrtle Beach, S.C. Today this building occasionally serves as a host to local theater groups and bands.. In addition, it houses Forth Union a 3-foot mini bowl and skate park union
