Description
Viennese architect John Eberson contributed to the design for the auditorium. Here theatergoers enter the environment of an evening in Venice with a replica of the Rialto Bridge spanning the stage. Marble for the columns came from Italy, Texas and Vermont. One's eyes will feast on a wealth of ornate arches, columns, balusters, urns, terra cotta, decorative plasterwork, marble columns in green, orange and cream, topped with pediments tastefully decked out in gold leaf.
