dc.descriptionThe parish was founded in 1908 and was originally planned to be called Resurrection by Archbishop Walsh. The first church was destroyed by fire in 1925. Shortly after becoming archbishop in 1953, Archbishop Boland changed the name of the church to Annunciation.
